The International Research & Training Centre for Sustainability (IRTC) is the practical knowledge management and diffusion body of the
DKG GROUP. Leveraging the Group’s expansive scope of activities,
IRTC is dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific innovation and
real-world agribusiness.
Rather than focusing on abstract laboratory concepts, IRTC provides
dedicated space and resources for field scientists specializing in
practical trials and evidence-based applied research. This
hands-on approach directly empowers partner enterprises with proven,
scalable solutions while giving field practitioners a prominent platform
to share actionable insights.
From its foundation, Sustainability has been the core driver of
IRTC, translating sustainable development principles into everyday field
practices across DKG Group’s informal business cluster and partner
network.
Today, IRTC is led by Christos D. Katsanos, an Agronomist holding
a Master’s degree in Business and Negotiations. Acting as the vital
link between the scientific community and DKG Group’s commercial and
developmental ventures, he drives knowledge diffusion
initiatives in strategic collaboration with leading academic, training,
and certification institutions, including:
-
TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) Academy
-
Green Experts Platform (powered by Grodan)
-
University of Macedonia (UoM)
-
Alba Graduate Business School
-
School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh)
-
